|Bruce Springsteen and Michael Bublé tributes this weekend and some Rainbow and Deep Purple next at Tropic at Ruislip.|
Dear Live Music Fan
It is at this time of year that attendances to gigs tends to drop off. We have had a great start to 2018 and obviously I hope this will continue through the quieter "summer" period but perhaps with the exception of the gig with Rod and The Facez most of the gigs between now and say September will not be packed, so room to dance, and even sit I suspect. So if you have been put off by the "crowds" then this is the time to come!! Obviously the flip side to this is I am asking for your support during this quieter period.
This weekend we have not one but TWO gigs. Details of this and next week's gig are below.
FRIDAY 18th MAY
BOSS UK - A TRIBUTE TO BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN.
This production brings all of Bruce Springsteen's worldwide hits to a show filled with the same intensity and realism of the true Boss.
Doug Freeman's unerring ability to capture the emotion, passion and fun of Springsteen's delivery has ensured that critical and audience acclaim is always enthusiastically positive with the show being labelled as 'the definitive Springsteen tribute.'
The show inevitably ends up being one huge party sing-along with the audience themselves exhausted from dancing and joining in with every chorus.
The Boss UK is regarded not only as the most sensational Bruce Springsteen tribute band but also - as Jeremy Clarkson said at a private party they performed at last year - "they really must be the best tribute band ...........in the world."
“This band is awesome - mighty, moving and unstoppable…………” Amanda Price, News Corp.
“This has been the best night of my life and I’m quite old!” Dave Moran aged [only] 38.
“Wow, I feel I’ve just had an audience with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band themselves!” Gerry Kelly, BBC Radio.

SATURDAY 19th MAY
ALBIE J AS MICHAEL BUBLÉ
This night is always a lot of fun and I suspect not one we will be repeating for a while so do not miss your chance to catch it!
Albie J is an International Singer/Songwriter based in Berkshire. With an incredible vocal range, this gives Albie the unique skill to take on any genre of music making it his own.
He has a wide repertoire of his own music and also celebrates the music of Michael Bublé effortlessly and with his wealth of live experience and confidence, projects magically in every show always leaving the crowd wanting just that little bit more.
With his charm, style and charisma, he will make any occasion special for you, especially birthday celebrations and corporate entertainment events.
If you're a fan of Michael Bublé rest assured he will include smash hits like, "Cry Me A River", "Haven't Met You Yet", "Me and Mrs Jones" and "Come Fly With Me".
However, this is so much more than just a "Bublé" show. For sure set one is Michael Bublé and maybe some of the second set but then the party really gets going and so do your feet and from about 11.00pm to midnight we just dance, dance, dance the night away.
Totally recommended and for only £10 a bargain. Come join the party….book now at http://www.tropicatruislip.co.uk/ebook/index.htm
LOOKING FURTHER AHEAD
FRIDAY 25th MAY
RAINBOW IN ROCK
A warm welcome back to this band with the amazing Tamás Csemez on lead vocals (who recently appeared as a "dep" for our Dio tribute and, as well as fronting this band, also fronts Logicaltramp).
This five piece play tribute to the very best music of Deep Purple and Rainbow. Featuring established and talented musicians from across London and the Home Counties they play all time classics as well as a few surprises to really get the audience going. Having honed their craft over many years in some of the hardest working bands in the country these guys have finally come together to bring you Rainbow in Rock.
What people say about Rainbow in Rock:
"Rainbow In Rock (a new band formed from members of Stargazer) are still the best band on the circuit playing Deep Purple and Rainbow classics and tonight was no exception. Classics like 'Burn' and 'Child In Time' and lesser heard songs such as 'Stone Cold' added up to a superlative set that was pitched and performed perfectly" - Liz Medhurst - Metaltalk Magazine
"We were really keen to have these guys play at Legends of Rock. They filled the place as always and performed a great set going down an absolute storm. We didn't hang about and have already booked them again for next year which will definitely keep the punters happy!" - Eddie Yates - Promoter
“No gimmicks here, just solid musicianship from the band overlaid with the fantastic voice of a great front man" - RC - Lemonrock Reviewer

What can I say. How great was the Eton John show with the full band? We did the gig part seated and it seemed to work OK as everyone looked to be getting a decent or at least half-decent view of the stage. There is no date in the diary for the band to return as I type but it is a show I would love to repeat.
I think that is all, see you soon I hope.
